La Panthere is Cartier's new women's fragrance from March 2014. It draws inspiration from the heritage of the house, the panther is always present in the perfumes of this line produced since 1986. The new perfume is a symbol of freedom a woman who is independent, graceful and rebel. The fragrance is sensual and bold floral - chypre. Created by perfumer Mathilde Laurent with central notes of gardenia and animalic musk. The upper part of the composition exudes greenish fruit mixture in the form of molecule styrallyl acetates, containing shades of rhubarb, strawberries, dried fruits, apple and apricot. The heart is dominated by gardenia, selected as the main flower to avoid an excessive oriental character and also not so common ingredient amongs.
