Molecule 01 + Iris by Escentric Molecule is the union between Molecule 01 + the single olfactory ingredient of iris, a natural extract of the root of different varieties of iris. The most minimal fragrance so far has been the one that used a single molecule inside: Molecule 01. The next one will add only one ingredient, Molecule + is Molecule 01 + 1 single olfactory ingredient.

If it had been a molecule again it would never have worked. Each of the combinations must be natural, only natural ingredients have the complexity to work in this way together with a molecule and dance with it, maintaining the simplicity of the initial concept.

Geza Schoen explains how it is not easy to describe the smell of iris, but you can immediately recognize a perfume that contains it if you compare it to one in which it is not present. Iris adds a creamy powderiness and brings the fragrance into a physical dimension. Geza Schoen has always liked iris very much and each Escentric fragrance contains a note within it. For him, iris is a luxurious ingredient and the one used for Molecule +, iris pallida absolute, is among the most expensive varieties in perfumery. Used in large quantities, as in this composition, it gives a fantastic sillage: its creator defined it as a bomb, even if subtle.

Directions for use: Spray the perfume by placing the bottle at least 12-18 cm away from the chest or body. Point the nozzle at the point where you will vaporize it. If your skin gets wet when you spray the perfume, the bottle is too close. For a more decisive fragrance, apply the perfume on the pulse points: neck, nape, wrist, forearm and behind the ears. Vaporizes in the void and crosses the perfume cloud for a more delicate result.
